Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes to join our client’s engineering team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable cloud services for a variety of internet‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and improve deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and service lifecycle management.
• Design and manage DNS architecture, email infrastructure (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and domain delegation.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure secure, high‑performance environments.
• Develop backend services or data pipelines in Go, Python, or Java.
• Provide troubleshooting, security hardening, and contribute to internal libraries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems, networking, and container workloads.
• Strong knowledge of PKI, TLS certificates, and secure communication protocols.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
