Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are expanding our PMO team at NLS and are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large‑scale insurance technology projects. In this role you will own the full project lifecycle, from initiation through delivery, while collaborating with internal teams, clients and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams of 30+ resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Define project scope, requirements, staffing, schedules, risks and contingency plans.
• Organise and facilitate customer‑facing meetings, including scoping and requirements gathering.
• Manage day‑to‑day project activities such as stand‑ups, task tracking, risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Maintain and communicate project schedules, budgets, status reports and stakeholder updates.
• Drive creative problem‑solving, sprint and milestone reviews, and project closure activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex projects in a technology environment.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence project direction.
• Experience mentoring other project managers.
