Space Planner (Junior)

About the role

The Junior Space Planner supports the design team in creating space plans, test‑fits, construction drawings, and finish packages for internal construction projects. The role combines solid CAD production skills with the ability to produce 2D and 3D visualisations that meet client and stakeholder requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm the accuracy of existing plans and update software with current information.
• Develop space plans, layouts and standardized specification projects.
• Produce construction documents for pricing and permitting, ensuring compliance with building, energy and accessibility codes.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings, renderings and presentations for clients and internal teams.
• Assist senior staff in selecting finishes, furniture, artwork and equipment.
• Maintain databases, project files, spreadsheets and documentation for new construction, renovations and remodels.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates, and generate reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple information sources.
• Excellent multitasking skills and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with on‑site teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of building codes, regulations and accessibility standards.
