Special Projects Sales Lead

About the role

Tigo is looking for a Special Projects Sales Lead in Tegucigalpa to lead the identification, development and closing of high-value commercial opportunities in mobile and residential projects. The role involves structuring profitable technical and economic proposals, managing key stakeholders and coordinating across internal areas to meet sales targets, ensure sustainable growth and maximize profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities in special projects such as coverage expansion, real estate developments and strategic alliances, increasing service penetration and revenue.
• Spot and realize commercial preference opportunities such as exclusivity, deployment priority and housing project agreements.
• Lead high-level negotiations with clients and strategic partners to secure favorable and sustainable terms.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, legal, finance and operations to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Build value propositions aligned to client needs and network capabilities, assessing technical and financial viability.
• Develop business cases that support decision-making and prioritize projects by profitability and strategic fit.
• Track project progress and ensure special projects sales targets are met through effective negotiation and disciplined execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Administration / Finance or a related field.
• MBA in Finance desirable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, technology, construction or real estate industries.
