Strategic Facilitator for ROK-Honduras Blue Economy Partnerships

About the role

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) seeks an experienced consultant to act as the strategic interface between Republic of Korea (ROK) entities and Honduran stakeholders for the Blue Fonseca project. The role focuses on advancing technology cooperation, investment linkages, and market access to support sustainable aquaculture development in the Gulf of Fonseca.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and match Honduran priority needs with appropriate ROK institutions, technology providers, investors, and research organizations.
• Facilitate partnership negotiations, knowledge exchange, and joint‑venture arrangements.
• Coordinate project activities between Honduras and Korea, including travel as required.
• Leverage outputs from the Blue Fonseca diagnostic phases to inform partnership strategies.
• Prepare briefing materials, reports, and recommendations for senior project leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international development or blue‑economy projects, preferably with a focus on aquaculture or marine logistics.
• Strong understanding of both Korean and Central American business environments.
• Ability to work independently on a short‑term consultancy (6 months) and travel between Honduras and Korea.
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
