Supervisor de Producción

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring productivity and administrative indicators of the processing plant, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely information for decision‑making. The role supports the execution of the processing plan while meeting quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate administrative and operational reports to provide timely data for management decisions.
• Supervise line operations, enforce procedures, and guarantee the best performance per processed pound while complying with internal and external quality and safety standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and optimize resources across all production lines.
• Control performance indicators for both productive and administrative activities, ensuring the processing plan is executed efficiently.
• Lead and develop personnel, fostering leadership skills and alignment with company values.
• Conduct process and procedure audits to meet certification requirements.
• Manage custody of documentation related to processes, procedures, and product costing for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering or Food Engineering.
• Minimum one year of experience in a production plant environment.
• Own a vehicle and be available for rotating shifts in Santa Cruz de Yojoa.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with BPMs (Business Process Management).
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
