Técnico Jefe de Mantenimiento

About the role

Gildan is seeking a senior maintenance professional to lead all maintenance activities in its knitting plant. The role involves supervising technical, mechanical and electrical staff to ensure machines meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and prioritize all maintenance work across the knitting floor.
• Supervise and support maintenance, mechanical, electrical and lubrication teams.
• Oversee needle and plate changes and ensure proper installation.
• Verify that all machine maintenance is performed correctly and documented.
• Review shift reports from mechanics and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical high school diploma in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, Electricity or Electronics.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a maintenance role within a textile or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of circular knitting machines.
• Adaptability, teamwork orientation, initiative and results focus.
