Virtual Assistant to CEO (Remote)

About the role

Viva is hiring a full-time remote Executive Assistant to support fast-growing US and Canadian startups. The role is not traditional: you take ownership, anticipate needs and help executives stay organized and one step ahead. It supports up to three executives across admin and operations, and is open only to candidates in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay and Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calendars, inboxes, meetings, travel and expenses
• Build and improve workflows, trackers and documentation
• Support projects, reporting and process improvement
• Coordinate across teams and stakeholders
• Track deadlines, dependencies and deliverables
• Identify inefficiencies and propose better systems

Required profile

• 2+ years of general work experience; at least one of the last three roles must show a 2+ year tenure
• Fluent English (C1 level)
• No job hopping: previous Executive Assistant experience is not required, but transferable experience is welcomed
• Detail-oriented, execution-focused, comfortable with fast-paced environments and new tools
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion and similar tools

• Pay of $1,200 USD base, up to $1,600 USD per month, plus performance bonuses and reviews every 6 months
