WASH Supervisor

About the role

World Vision is seeking a motivated WASH Supervisor to lead water, sanitation and hygiene projects that improve the lives of vulnerable children and communities. You will work on the field, coordinating with local partners to ensure safe water and basic sanitation services are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction and maintenance of water supply and basic sanitation systems.
• Coordinate activities with communities, municipalities, water boards and other partners.
• Plan, monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with World Vision safeguarding policies.
• Prepare technical designs using computer tools and oversee their implementation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and produce regular project reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in water, sanitation, infrastructure or community development projects.
• Proven experience supervising works and managing water‑potable and basic sanitation systems.
• Experience working with communities, municipal authorities and water committees.
• Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and a motorcycle.
• Commitment to World Vision’s zero‑tolerance policy on abuse and exploitation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer tools for technical design.
• Knowledge of project planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Driving skills for 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles.
