About the role

Cargill is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead the poultry and sausage business in the Comayagua and Choluteca zones. The role involves directing sales operations, guiding frontline sales staff, and ensuring the execution of sales tactics that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement sales programs to meet business targets.
• Plan, direct and coordinate sales activities across the assigned territory.
• Educate customers on new products, pricing and innovations.
• Promote and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Assist less‑experienced sales representatives in solving complex issues.
• Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, performance management and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
• Review and monitor the tasks and performance of the sales team.
• Perform other functions as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of directly related sales experience.
• Availability to travel within the assigned zone.
• Preferred: 3 years of relevant experience, at least 1 year in a supervisory role, and experience in related industries.
