Administrador de Sistemas – Soporte ERP y AS/400

About the role

The System Administrator joins a global IT team responsible for supporting Gildan’s ERP applications and iSeries AS/400 mainframe environment. The position works closely with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to ensure the stability, performance and compliance of critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for applications running on the AS/400 platform, including EnterpriseOne package generation and deployment.
• Maintain hardware components such as pSeries servers, HMC, VIOS, storage and backup systems.
• Support and troubleshoot AS/400‑based utilities such as Robot, Cilasoft and PowerHA.
• Execute PowerHA failover tests and participate in semi‑annual disaster‑recovery exercises.
• Collaborate with security teams on SOX compliance, audits and related regulatory matters.
• Apply system updates, PTFs, firmware upgrades and OS patches to keep the environment current.
• Work rotating shifts as required to provide 24/7 coverage for production systems.

Required skills

• AS/400 (iSeries) mainframe administration.
• EnterpriseOne ERP application support.
• pSeries hardware, HMC, VIOS, storage and backup management.
• PowerHA configuration, failover testing and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Experience with Robot, Cilasoft utilities.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit processes.
• Applying PTFs, OS patches and firmware updates.
