Business Analyst IT

About the role

Gildan is seeking an IT Business Analyst to lead product backlog definition, support sprint delivery, and act as the primary contact for users during system implementations. The role combines functional analysis, Scrum coordination, and stakeholder communication to ensure technology solutions deliver maximum business value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with the Product Owner.
• Support sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and sprint reviews, monitoring progress through burndown reports.
• Provide functional support to developers, testers, and architects for acquired solutions.
• Analyze business requirements, document functional specifications, and assess feasibility of initiatives.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and measure solution adoption.
• Manage software change implementation, risk mitigation, and incident tracking.
• Evaluate vendor and product alternatives and integrate vendor resources into projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field; Master’s in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Business Consultant, Systems Analyst, Scrum Master or similar role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• General understanding of process management, application development, infrastructure, quality and project management.
