Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join our automotive team in Quimistan, Honduras. In this role you will act as the primary liaison with customers, addressing quality complaints and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customers regarding reported quality complaints and serve as the main point of contact for specific requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues using established methodologies such as 8D and problem‑solving techniques.
• Monitor the status of customer‑reported concerns until closure, guaranteeing responses within 24 hours.
• Lead defect analysis and customer response meetings, and generate performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
• Verify that processes and products comply with customer specifications and maintain continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of quality methodologies and customer‑focused problem solving.
