About the role

We are looking for a highly proficient English‑Spanish Medical Interpreter to join our remote healthcare interpretation campaign. In this role you will enable clear, accurate communication between English‑speaking healthcare professionals and Spanish‑speaking patients, ensuring cultural sensitivity and confidentiality throughout each interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time medical interpretation via phone between English‑speaking clinicians and Spanish‑speaking patients.
• Accurately convey medical terminology, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Maintain neutrality, professionalism, and strict confidentiality at all times.
• Clarify cultural nuances when necessary to support effective communication.
• Document call details according to internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and fluent Spanish.
• High school diploma; healthcare or language studies preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology (training provided if needed).
• Excellent listening, memory, and note‑taking abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during sensitive medical situations.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace.
