Afternoon Dispatch Support Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an Afternoon Dispatch Support Specialist to join its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In this role you will coordinate delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure timely, safe transportation of freight across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads, scheduling drivers, and coordinating pick‑up and delivery appointments.
• Modify daily routes to meet customer needs, monitor road conditions, and re‑route as necessary.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers and provide routing directions.
• Maintain compliance with dispatch standards, update customer web portals, and record load events.
• Monitor driver reports for safety compliance and enforce equipment safety procedures.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and optimize trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and multitasking capabilities.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
