About the role
The Junior Purchasing Agent will support the procurement function by managing the timely acquisition of goods and services required for specific product lines. Working closely with senior purchasing specialists, the role focuses on ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with the company's financial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Execute purchase orders for assigned categories, guaranteeing delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with senior buyers to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of national and international procurement activities.
- Monitor supplier relationships and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Support the evaluation of new suppliers and the onboarding process.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Residence in the SPS area.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP for procurement processes.
