Appointment Setter – B2B Sales for Sustainable Biomaterials

About the role

Our client, a pioneering biomaterials company, is looking for an Appointment Setter to drive B2B sales and build brand partnerships across fashion, footwear, automotive and home‑goods sectors. You will be the front‑line contact for prospective partners, turning interest into concrete business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities with brands in fashion, footwear and accessories.
• Manage inbound and outbound sales activities, including timely follow‑up on inquiries and proactive outreach.
• Lead customer meetings throughout the sales pipeline, from initial contact to commercial follow‑up.
• Present the company’s materials, capabilities and value proposition to prospects.
• Collaborate with product development, design and sustainability teams of target brands.
• Coordinate with the Chief Growth Officer to prioritize leads and refine outreach strategies.
• Work with the Sales Coordinator to ensure smooth handoff of samples and logistics.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to generate new leads.
• Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends and product requests.
• Track sales activity and maintain basic CRM updates.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or brand partnership.
• Experience selling to fashion, footwear, materials, textiles, automotive or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Highly self‑motivated, organized and comfortable in a startup environment.
• Ability to manage multiple sales conversations simultaneously.
• Fluent English (C2 level).

Required skills

• Experience with CRM software; Hubspot is a plus.
