Claims Data Analyst – Logistics & Fleet Operations

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Claims Data Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. You will work with operational data to analyze trailer damage trends, manage out‑of‑service equipment, and support the claims recovery process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze trailer damage trends and identify root causes to reduce downtime.
• Track and monitor Out‑of‑Service (OOS) equipment, producing daily reports and performance metrics.
• Maintain Excel‑based repair timelines, costs, claims status, and recovery reporting.
• Investigate damage liability using incident records and repair documentation.
• Prepare and submit claims for repair cost reimbursement with accurate supporting documents.
• Build reports and dashboards to track fleet utilization, damage frequency, and claims recovery.
• Collaborate with terminals, repair shops, and breakdown teams to improve repair turnaround times.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with operational data and reporting.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience managing claims, invoices, or reconciliations.
• Background in fleet, logistics, transportation, or maintenance operations (preferred).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements, data validation).
• Power BI or similar reporting tools (preferred).
