About the role

World Vision Honduras is seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator to lead the Integrated Sponsorship program in the Yamaranguila cluster of Intibucá. The role focuses on strengthening staff and community structures, ensuring child participation, and maintaining high standards of quality, safeguarding, and information management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Integrated Sponsorship approach across area programs.
• Build the capacity of staff, community structures, and local partners.
• Promote meaningful participation of children, adolescents, and youth in program activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, child‑protection, and data‑management standards.
• Coordinate efforts with families, volunteers, and local organizations.

Required profile

• University degree in Social Work, Educational Administration, Social Development Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in similar coordination or project‑management roles.
• Proven experience in operational planning, social project management, and community‑network development.
• Experience using participatory and playful methodologies with children and youth.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, innovation and results‑orientation.
• Excellent technical writing and computer‑tool proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate 4x4 vehicles.
• Advanced English is desirable.
