Data Platform Architect – Azure & Snowflake

About the role

BairesDev® is seeking a senior Data Platform Architect to design and launch a production‑grade Azure and Snowflake environment. You will replace ad‑hoc automation with reliable, managed services while acting as the technical authority for investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Azure data architecture from the ground up, leveraging managed services such as Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Functions, and ADLS Gen2.
• Set up Snowflake greenfield environments, including accounts, warehouses, RBAC, masking, and row‑level security.
• Design access controls using Entra ID, managed identities, and Microsoft Graph.
• Develop event‑driven ingestion pipelines with change‑triggered extraction, queues, and webhooks.
• Own the security posture and architecture decisions in a regulated environment.
• Serve as the client‑facing technical authority, collaborating directly with investment professionals.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure data services and Snowflake greenfield implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Functions, ADLS Gen2, and Snowflake security features.
• Proficiency in designing access using Entra ID or Microsoft Graph.
• Advanced English communication skills.
