Gerente Comercial – Gestión de Relaciones y Cumplimiento

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead strategic relationships with remittance payment agents, ensure regulatory compliance in Honduras, and drive sales growth across the region. The role combines client service, partnership development, and risk management to support the company’s financial services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with existing remittance agents, including regular meetings, performance reporting, and SLA coordination.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new agents throughout the region.
• Collect, prioritize, and address internal and external client requirements, delivering action plans and status reports to senior management.
• Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities, collaborate with sales and product teams, and propose market‑driven growth initiatives.
• Maintain continuous contact with Honduran regulators, prepare licensing documentation, and support audits and corrective action plans.
• Monitor operational, compliance, and reputational risks, ensuring policies align with local and international regulations.
• Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Sales to align efforts and develop training materials for agents and internal teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Finance, Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in sales/alliances, regulatory compliance, or relationship management within the remittances, payments or financial services sector.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local and international regulations (AML/KYC, data protection, licensing).
• Experience working with regulators and handling licensing processes.
• Ability to analyze performance, sales and risk metrics.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
