Gerente/Coordinador/Director de Proyecto – Agua Potable

About the role

The position leads the full management of a FIDIC‑based contract for a water supply rehabilitation project in Tegucigalpa. Acting as the Engineer’s representative, the incumbent ensures technical, administrative and contractual obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and administer the FIDIC contract, representing the Engineer.
• Supervise and approve design and execution of works.
• Review and issue No‑Objection for the Executive Project, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
• Control schedule, cost, and progress; monitor physical and financial advancement and guarantee contractual milestones.
• Manage payment certifications, variations, and claims in accordance with FIDIC conditions.
• Ensure environmental, social and occupational health & safety compliance, including implementation of the PGAS and World Bank standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering (master’s preferred) and professional engineering registration.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in water‑supply programs.
• Prior experience as manager, coordinator or director of water‑supply projects financed by international donors (World Bank, IDB, BCIE, USAID, etc.).
• Experience with FIDIC Yellow or Red Book contracts, preferably in water‑supply or sanitation projects.
