Service Engineer – Utility Projects (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Service Engineer to lead on‑site delivery of ground photovoltaic (PV) and energy‑storage projects across Honduras and the wider Latin America region. You will ensure projects meet local regulations, quality, safety and schedule targets while supporting long‑term operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end on‑site delivery of ground PV and energy‑storage projects, including installation supervision, commissioning coordination and acceptance support.
• Guarantee compliance with Honduran construction specifications, regional safety standards and quality requirements; proactively identify and mitigate on‑site risks.
• Coordinate with internal sales teams and external partners (EPC contractors, municipal authorities, grid operators) to align resources, progress and grid‑connection procedures.
• Provide post‑delivery maintenance, technical support and collect client feedback to improve delivery processes and digitisation initiatives.
• Prepare and submit standardized project reports (progress updates, quality inspections, safety logs) for transparent management communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of on‑site project delivery experience for ground PV, energy‑storage or renewable‑energy projects, with solid knowledge of EPC processes.
• Deep understanding of Honduran and Latin‑American construction regulations, safety standards and power‑grid connection procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving and cross‑party coordination abilities; fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
• Willingness to work long‑term on‑site in Latin America and adapt to cross‑cultural environments.
