Key Account Manager (KAM) – Strategic Sales

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive consultative sales and grow strategic accounts for a leading food manufacturing company in Honduras. Based in El Progreso, the role combines on‑site client visits with close collaboration across operations, logistics, finance and customer service to ensure sustainable account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop high‑value strategic accounts, building strong, long‑term relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expansion possibilities within existing accounts.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and close sales while maintaining profitability targets.
• Analyze business indicators, profitability and commercial performance to guide decision‑making.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B corporate sales or key‑account management experience, preferably handling large clients or distribution channels in Honduras.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
