Lead Automation Tester – JavaScript/TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Automation Tester with strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise to drive quality across our customer‑facing web applications and APIs. You will shape the automation strategy, mentor the team, and ensure reliable releases in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs using modern frameworks.
• Expand and improve existing automation frameworks, utilities, and test libraries.
• Build test coverage for new features and regression scenarios, and execute functional testing as part of releases.
• Analyze test failures, collaborate with developers to identify root causes, and unblock releases.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, test‑management tools, and cloud execution platforms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, and share best practices across the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on test automation experience for web applications.
• Proven ability to work in Agile teams and communicate effectively with developers.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward quality.
