Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of a global automotive services leader. You will own the design and delivery of reusable developer automation, cloud infrastructure, and secure engineering enablement, while staying hands‑on with platform code and AI‑assisted tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reusable GitHub Actions for the organization.
• Create and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and overall developer productivity.
• Drive DevSecOps practices, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish AI development standards leveraging Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Mentor engineers through architecture guidance, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of proven technical leadership and mentoring.
• Strong written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to introduce AI into engineering workflows.
