Local Marketing Specialist

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Local Marketing Specialist to lead commercial planning and execution across channels, brands and customers in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The role reports to the Country Manager and operates in a hybrid model (three days in the office and two days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Define, update and control pricing per brand, channel and SKU to ensure competitiveness.
• Manage promotional budgets, create provisions, monitor spend and track execution.
• Design and execute promotional calendars for each channel and client, considering inventory and sales opportunities.
• Participate in S&OP and demand‑planning activities, aligning innovation and volume forecasts.
• Ensure proper point‑of‑sale execution of innovations, promotions, POP materials, distribution and coverage.
• Develop trade‑marketing activations, BTL campaigns and commercial incentives to boost sales.
• Identify growth opportunities through Sell‑In, Sell‑Out, inventory and coverage analysis.
• Track P&L, client performance and compliance with commercial strategies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, merchandisers, agencies and customers.
• Present results, plans and opportunities in CSO meetings, client reviews and sales team sessions.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar commercial or marketing role.
• Intermediate English proficiency (preferred).
• Advanced Excel proficiency (mandatory) and experience with SAP.
