About the role

The Project Officer will lead the design and implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system and ICT4D components for the Diversification and Income Generation (DIG) project in La Paz, Honduras. Working closely with CRS project teams, local partners and community members, the officer will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis and reporting to support the organization’s mission to serve vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the project’s MEAL system and related databases.
• Coordinate MEAL and ICT4D activities, ensuring they follow CRS policies, timelines and standards.
• Facilitate communication and information exchange between project staff, implementing partners and community participants.
• Monitor data quality and provide routine and proactive data validation.
• Support technical planning and implementation of work plans for DIG and related agriculture projects as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL and ICT4D within development or humanitarian projects.
• Strong ability to work with local partners and community members.
• Knowledge of CRS policies and standards for monitoring and data management.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
