Payroll Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Clerk to support payroll processing, data entry, reporting, and employee/client payroll records. The role is ideal for candidates with at least one year of payroll‑related experience who can handle sensitive information and meet strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain payroll data for new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions.
• Support payroll processing using established procedures and checklists.
• Review payroll information for accuracy and flag discrepancies.
• Assist with basic payroll reports, reconciliations, and quarter/year‑end activities.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, trackers, and documentation.
• Respond to employee and client payroll inquiries and escalate complex issues.

Required profile

• 1+ year of payroll processing or payroll‑related administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage strict payroll deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll and compensation information.
