Sales Representative – Vehicle Transportation

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative will turn qualified leads into customers by understanding their vehicle transportation needs, presenting suitable shipping solutions, and closing sales. This high‑volume, KPI‑driven position requires strong phone communication skills and a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads via phone, email, and other channels.
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and follow up consistently.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the best vehicle transportation option.
• Explain pricing, timelines, and the overall shipping process.
• Prepare and present customized quotes, negotiating when appropriate while protecting margins.
• Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings and maintain follow‑up throughout the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM, following established scripts and processes.
• Collaborate with the Sales Supervisor to improve techniques and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in sales, inside sales, call‑center, or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Experience in a high‑volume sales environment is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work with KPI metrics.
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of calls.
• Motivated by numbers and accountable to performance metrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for tracking leads and sales activities.
