Senior Accountant – E‑commerce (Remote LATAM)

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing connected‑fitness equipment brand that sells through direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce, retail partners and commercial accounts. They need a senior accountant who will own day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, AP, AR, inventory, treasury support and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle in NetSuite, reconcile vendor statements and execute payment runs.
• Own invoicing, cash application and collections across DTC, retail and commercial channels.
• Lead month‑end close: accruals, journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Record inventory receipts, calculate landed costs, reconcile inventory sub‑ledgers and support cycle counts.
• Prepare borrowing‑base certificates, covenant reporting and 13‑week cash forecasts.
• Support finance operations by handling expense reports, corporate card coding and vendor onboarding documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Full‑cycle accounting experience with hands‑on month‑end close ownership.
• Experience in inventory accounting for a physical‑product business.
• Professional written and spoken English fluency.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or comparable mid‑market ERP).
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, large‑file reconciliations).
• Intuit, Mercury (banking), Shopify, Justworks, Asana.
• Inventory, landed‑cost and import accounting knowledge.
