Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, build and maintain robust AWS security architectures across multiple accounts and services. This remote position offers the chance to lead security initiatives, tune edge protections, and drive identity governance while collaborating with a global team of top‑tier technologists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS security architecture across multiple accounts, VPCs, clusters, and edge services.
• Configure and tune AWS edge protection (WAF, WebACLs, Shield, CloudFront) against DDoS, bot traffic, and credential stuffing.
• Assess and optimize network topology, routing, and load balancer configurations for security and reliability.
• Lead IAM and identity governance programs, enforcing least‑privilege, role hygiene, and secrets management.
• Participate in cloud incident response, including log analysis, forensics, and remediation planning.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across network, infrastructure, and application layers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Proven production‑level experience with AWS security services and edge protection under real attack traffic.
• Strong background in network topology assessment and IAM governance.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud incident response, forensics and remediation.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
