Senior IoT Platform Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IoT Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a scalable Azure IoT platform that supports a growing fleet of connected equipment. The role combines cloud infrastructure, edge device management and data pipeline development to ensure reliable, end‑to‑end connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a scalable Azure IoT platform for connected devices.
• Manage fleet operations, including remote firmware updates and device health monitoring.
• Develop and sustain edge‑to‑cloud data pipelines and associated APIs.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and automated tooling to guarantee platform reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate industrial protocols and Linux edge devices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform or IoT engineering.
• Strong background with Azure IoT architecture.
• Hands‑on experience in fleet management and remote device update systems.
• Proven ability to build edge‑to‑cloud pipelines and APIs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
