Technical Sales Advisor – Food Safety

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chemical Engineer or Food Technologist with a strong passion for technical sales in the food safety sector. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, providing technical advice to clients, and achieving sales targets while ensuring proper collection of payments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on the creation and implementation of sales plans and strategies.
• Provide technical consultancy to customers in your portfolio.
• Meet established sales goals and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Prospect new clients and open new market segments, often with little or no assigned portfolio.
• Conduct consultative selling focused on food safety and evaluate food plants to identify chemical, microbiological or sanitary bottlenecks.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering or Food Chemistry (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food sector and technical sales.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Technical English is desirable.
• Intermediate proficiency with Office and CRM tools.

Required skills

• Proven ability to open markets and prospect new clients.
• Consultative selling applied to food safety.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations such as FSSC 22000, HACCP, BPM and local/international sanitary standards.
• Understanding of additives, cleaning agents, preservatives and co‑adjuvants in food processes.
• Capability to assess food plants and identify chemical, microbiological or sanitary bottlenecks.
