Account Executive - Laboratory Services

About the role

We are seeking a consultative, technically‑oriented Account Executive to drive growth for an FDA‑registered, ISO‑accredited contract microbiology laboratory. The role focuses on the pharmaceutical, medical device and cosmetic sectors, acting as a strategic partner for QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs and R&D stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification and discovery to proposal generation and closing.
• Act as a consultative partner to technical decision‑makers, translating client requirements into actionable scopes of work.
• Prepare, deliver and negotiate detailed quotes and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Maintain pipeline and prospecting activity in HubSpot Sales Hub with accurate forecasting.
• Navigate vendor qualification and regulated procurement workflows within the life‑sciences industry.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure recurring business.

Required profile

• 4+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Proven success selling complex technical or laboratory services (e.g., CRO/CDMO, contract testing).
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence technical stakeholders such as QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs and R&D teams.
• Strong curiosity for industry regulations and emerging testing standards.
