About the role

We are seeking a proactive Scholarship Advisor to oversee the scholarship program, offering comprehensive support to scholarship students throughout their studies. The role involves academic monitoring, psycho‑educational guidance, internship coordination, and ensuring compliance with program requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all stages of the scholarship program, including calls, evaluations, interviews, and application processes.
• Provide personalized counseling and follow‑up on academic performance and commitment fulfillment.
• Participate in candidate selection and assist the Scholarship Allocation Committee with candidate review.
• Maintain up‑to‑date student files, databases, and academic records.
• Coordinate internship placements aligned with each student’s field of study and monitor compliance.
• Supervise internship hours, attendance, tutoring sessions, workshops, study groups, and other program activities.
• Design and deliver inductions, workshops, meetings, and community‑building events for scholarship recipients.
• Ensure students understand and adhere to the scholarship regulations regarding grades, attendance, and internships.
• Prepare periodic reports on student progress for internal teams, partner institutions, and sponsors.
• Support promotional activities for the scholarship program and maintain communication with prospects, educational institutions, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Education, Educational Guidance, Social Work or related fields.
• Complementary training in educational counseling, student support, psycho‑educational intervention, or related areas.
• Experience in student orientation, monitoring, and administrative processes such as file handling, database management, and report preparation.
