About the role

The Purchasing Assistant supports the organization by managing national and international service procurements with a predefined supplier portfolio. The role ensures timely processing of purchase requests, coordination with suppliers, and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review open purchase requests in SAP and via email.
• Search for new suppliers in the market on a regular basis.
• Quote and negotiate service requests, validating supplier pricing.
• Track service suppliers to confirm or modify requested services.
• Reconcile orders based on quotations provided by requestors.
• Generate purchase orders for credit and cash transactions according to supplier terms.
• Process supplier credits, advance payments, and exemptions for purchases over L.10,000.00.
• Coordinate logistics of orders with suppliers and the logistics department.
• Maintain daily payment reports, bi‑weekly advance reports, and audit‑ready file controls.

Required profile

• Complete high school diploma.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in purchasing, administration, or supplier relations.
• Minimum age of 22 years.
• Basic English and advanced Spanish proficiency.
• Basic knowledge of invoicing and accounting.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
