About the role

The bank is seeking a diligent Cashier (Cajero) to manage daily cash operations, serve customers, and support branch objectives. The role involves handling deposits, withdrawals, checks, and providing basic information on banking products while maintaining confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and dispense cash, process checks, deposits, and withdrawals in accordance with bank procedures.
• Execute banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
• Verify customer identity and document authenticity.
• Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Provide customers with basic information about banking products and services.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and transaction details.
• Collaborate with branch team to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Complete high school education (Bachillerato).
• Previous experience handling cash and processing banking transactions.
• Ability to perform precise mathematical calculations.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and adherence to banking security procedures.
