About the role
UnifyCX is seeking a Collections Specialist to join its dynamic team in San Pedro Sula. In this role you will interact with consumers through inbound and outbound calls, helping them resolve past‑due debts while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
Key responsibilities
- Contact customers with overdue payments to negotiate settlements.
- Maintain accurate logs of collection activities, payment promises, and disputes.
- Ensure all collection actions comply with local laws and company policies.
- Offer payment plans or settlements when appropriate.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience in collections or a related field.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High comfort level with computer systems.
