DevOps / SRE / DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) – Remote Latin America

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to join its rapidly expanding consultancy. You will work on challenging, client‑facing projects, delivering high‑quality, market‑leading applications. Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality applications for a variety of client projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and operate reliable cloud solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi‑AZ failover and replica monitoring.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Ability to overlap US business hours and support on‑call rotations.

• PostgreSQL/Aurora database administration
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• Docker and container orchestration (ECS/Fargate)
• CI/CD pipeline construction and deployment automation
• Monitoring and observability tools (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch)
• Load testing (k6) and latency SLO management
• Vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance hardening
• SOC 2 audit support and incident response
