HR Performance & Development Generalist

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc., a leading asset‑based carrier in North America, is expanding its HR team in San Pedro Sula. The HR Performance & Development Generalist will support performance management, compensation, engagement surveys, and the full performance review cycle while advising department heads on HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives such as Performance Management, Compensation, Engagement Survey and Performance Review Cycle.
• Provide guidance to department heads on employment issues, policy interpretation, performance management, terminations, training, development and benefits administration.
• Partner with groups to design incentive and retention strategies.
• Manage HR policy administration, health and safety compliance, and internal procedures.
• Develop and coordinate onboarding, payroll data collection, and probationary reviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and coordinate with payroll.
• Conduct workplace investigations, handle grievances, and support health‑and‑safety activities.

Required profile

• Human Resources degree or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a trusted HR advisor/Generalist.
• Strong organizational, detail‑oriented and goal‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
• Solid knowledge of labor law, employment standards and collective agreements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
