HR Specialist – Bilingual English/Spanish Talent Acquisition

About the role

OWL Trusted Partner Solutions is expanding its in‑house HR function and seeks a bilingual HR Specialist to lead talent acquisition and people operations for its U.S. insurance agency partners. Reporting to the COO, you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, develop retention strategies, and build HR processes that support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate agency partner requirements into competency‑based job profiles and manage the full recruitment pipeline, including sourcing, screening, interviewing in English and Spanish, and candidate communication.
• Administer psychometric assessments, verify references, and evaluate culture fit, with retention metrics measured at 90 days and 12 months.
• Research market salaries, maintain salary bands, and negotiate offers within approved ranges.
• Own the salary increase policy, run semi‑annual performance evaluations, and create career ladders and promotion recommendations.
• Maintain HR records, track time‑off in line with Honduran labor law, conduct stay/exit interviews, and lead engagement activities for both on‑site and remote team members.

Required profile

• Advanced professional English (C1+) and fluent Spanish, with experience interviewing candidates in both languages.
• 3+ years of HR experience focused on high‑volume recruiting, competency‑based interviewing, and psychometric assessments.
• Working knowledge of Honduran labor law and experience with salary benchmarking and compensation negotiation.
• Highly organized, discreet, and able to manage processes end‑to‑end.
