Junior Instructional Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Instructional Designer to join our team in Tegucigalpa. The role is ideal for candidates with a background in Systems or Information Technology who are passionate about designing and delivering high‑quality learning experiences using modern LMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and build‑out of courses within LMS platforms such as Moodle and Canvas.
• Collaborate with senior instructional designers throughout the design lifecycle.
• Adapt and update existing educational content to meet project specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks on courses and materials before publication.
• Translate content between Spanish and English when required.
• Assist with formatting and organizing materials in PowerPoint and other office tools.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience (portfolio not required).
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with a focus on instructional design or higher education.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, or similar).
• Strong PowerPoint skills for content formatting.
