Lead Coordinator, Maintenance

About the role

The Lead Coordinator, Maintenance provides essential administrative support to the maintenance department, its professionals and third‑party contractors. The role ensures equipment is tracked, serviced, and reported accurately, helping the organization maintain operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reports and statistical controls of maintenance operations, analyzing costs, production, and material consumption to identify improvement opportunities.
• Update equipment status in the CICS system and assign equipment to customers.
• Coordinate emergency responses, vehicle services, and mechanical task assignments.
• Generate collection reports, including bills, damage notifications, and photographic documentation.
• File and organize all required documentation to maintain office order.
• Monitor refrigerated equipment remotely, reporting any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent post‑high‑school experience.
• 3–5 years of transportation experience with a focus on maintenance.
• At least 3 years of data‑entry or related administrative experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and adapt to both indoor and outdoor environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
