Líder Regional de POS TI

About the role

We are seeking a Regional POS Technology Leader to define and drive the technology strategy for both physical and digital point‑of‑sale acquiring across the region. The role oversees operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads innovation initiatives while coordinating internal teams, vendors, and card brands.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the regional technology strategy for the POS ecosystem.
• Lead day‑to‑day POS acquiring operations and manage the regional project portfolio.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLA, KPI, internal audits and regulatory requirements (PCI DSS).
• Maintain technical relationships with Visa, Mastercard and other card brands.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with strategic suppliers and oversee their performance.
• Drive automation, digital transformation and incident‑management processes.
• Develop business continuity and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Manage the annual POS operating budget and lead RFP processes.
• Foster talent development and provide executive reporting for decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in Technology, Business, Project Management or similar is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in payment acquisition, POS systems or brand management.
• Strong understanding of acquiring switches, PCI DSS compliance and financial management.
