Monitoring Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc., a leading asset‑based carrier across North America, is expanding its security team. The Monitoring Specialist will remotely oversee video surveillance of yards and trucks, ensuring safety and rapid response to any incident.

Key responsibilities

• Remotely monitor security cameras for suspicious or unusual activity.
• Coordinate with internal departments during emergencies or accidents.
• Dispatch emergency calls and respond to video‑triggered incidents.
• Ensure the security of trucks and yard assets.
• Provide accident reports or video footage to the Safety team.
• Maintain accurate electronic security records and adhere to workplace policies.
• Verify identification of all visitors to the yards and maintain communication until resolution.
• Assist in executing Emergency Response Plans and intervene to prevent disturbances.

Required profile

• Fluent English (must).
• Minimum 4 years experience as a monitorist, security supervisor or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Team player with strong decision‑making ability.
• Fast learner, tech‑savvy and able to adapt quickly to new software.
• High attention to detail and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
