Operario II – Área Indirecta

About the role

The Operario II – Indirect area supports Cargill's food production division in Honduras. This permanent, onsite position focuses on egg handling, bird environment monitoring, and basic equipment operation to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and classify eggs up to five times per day.
• Select products prior to collection.
• Gather eggs from both nest and floor locations.
• Maintain bird environment conditions such as bedding, feeding, and overall habitat status.
• Collect bird mortality and record daily production data.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and basic troubleshooting following established procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely, including bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lb, with reasonable accommodation if needed.
• Comfort working in environments with noise, dust, chemicals, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Completed primary education or higher.
• Fluent reading and writing in Spanish.
• Previous experience with inventory systems.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or varying shifts with prior notice.
