Process Improvement Analyst

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. The role focuses on analysing trailer damage trends, managing out‑of‑service equipment, and driving cost‑effective repairs while supporting the company’s commitment to on‑time, on‑budget deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse trailer damage trends, identify root causes and propose corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Track and report daily Out‑of‑Service (OOS) equipment status and performance metrics.
• Maintain Excel‑based repair timelines, cost tracking, claims status and recovery reporting.
• Investigate damage liability using operational data, incident records and repair documentation.
• Prepare and submit accurate claims for repair cost reimbursement.
• Build dashboards to monitor fleet utilisation, damage frequency and claims recovery.
• Collaborate with terminals, repair shops and breakdown teams to improve repair turnaround times.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with operational data and reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot trends, anomalies and cost drivers.
• Background in fleet, logistics, transportation or maintenance operations (preferred).
• Knowledge of claims management and liability investigation (preferred).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements and data validation.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools (preferred).
