Process Optimization Analyst

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a Process Optimization Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. You will work with operational data to reduce trailer downtime, manage out‑of‑service equipment, and support claims recovery. The role combines analytical problem‑solving with hands‑on collaboration across terminals, repair shops, and breakdown teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze trailer damage trends, identify root causes, and propose solutions to minimize downtime.
• Track and monitor Out‑of‑Service (OOS) equipment, producing daily performance reports.
• Maintain Excel‑based records of repair timelines, costs, claims status, and recovery metrics.
• Investigate damage liability using operational data, incident records, and repair documentation.
• Prepare and submit accurate claims for repair cost reimbursement.
• Build reports and dashboards to monitor fleet utilization, damage frequency, and claims recovery.
• Partner with terminals, repair shops, and breakdown teams to improve repair turnaround times.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with operational data and reporting.
• Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience managing claims, invoices, or reconciliations.
• Background in fleet, logistics, transportation, or maintenance operations (preferred).
• Knowledge of claims management and liability investigation (preferred).
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools (preferred).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements, data validation)
• Power BI (preferred)
