Senior Data Engineer – GCP & Data Integration

About the role

You will design, build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and integrations on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves working across API integrations, transformation logic and cloud‑based warehouses, ensuring data quality and production reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance production ETL pipelines that connect REST APIs to GCP data warehouse environments.
• Develop integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python within existing architecture.
• Implement data pipelines with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Create transformation logic for billing events, subscription lifecycle and revenue data.
• Maintain REST API integrations handling authentication, pagination, error handling and retries.
• Monitor pipeline health through alerting, logging, retry mechanisms and data quality checks.
• Write complex SQL queries for source‑to‑warehouse validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with architecture stakeholders to define validation requirements and translate them into SQL checks.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL or Data Integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to work within existing architectures, follow coding standards and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work in an async‑first distributed team.
